After completing thumbnail sketches and initial explorative designs you need to take your thinking skills further and explore alternatives that could inform the design.
You can try looking elsewhere for inspiration for example an artists work or biomimicry (see the examples below).
On your page your sketches need only be simple in style. Use of black fine liner and some simple rendering to highlight tone, surface shape and shadows
SCAMPER
To use SCAMPER go down the list and apply the different elements to a design idea to make changes to your design idea.
This will help you generate alternative ideas and features to your designs.
