The Ferguson TEA-20 (Utility) Tractor was produced from 1948 to 1956. It succeeded the TE-20 model and was itself succeeded by the FE-25 model.
"TE" stood for Tractor England with "A" being for the Standard Motor Compnay Engine

Steering : Manual with a turning circle radius : 16 feet (4.90m).
Tyres : Rear 10x28 (12psi); Front : 4x19 (26psi)
Engine : Standard 1.9L (1850cc) - 4 cylinder in line petrol producing 23.9HP - made by the Standard Motor Company. After 1951, this was upgraded to Standard 2.1L (2088cc) 4 cylinder petrol producing 28.2HP.
This engine was widely used in Standard passenger cars of the 1950's the most well known being the "Vanguard". It was later used in the first generation of the Triumph TR sports cars. It was overhead valve engine with thin wall bearings with replaceable shells and loose fitted wet liners. The origins of the engine design was with WW2 Bristol aero engines and the purpose built Banner Lane factory in Coventry was taken over after the war by the Standard Motor Company.

Fuel capacity : 6.7 Imp gallons (30.3L). Air Cleaner : Oil bath;
Transmission : Unsynchronised 4 forward & 1 reverse. (Gear speeds : 1 = 3.4mph; 2 = 4.6mph; 3 = 6.4mph; 4 = 13.3mph; R = 3.9mph)
Oil capacities : Engine 5 Imp gallons (5.7L) ; Transmission 30L (transmission shares oil with TPO system). (Same oil as engine ?)
Cooling : liquid with radiator / fan.
Brakes : differential mechanical shoe
Electrics : This tractor is 12v positive earth (may have been 6v originally ?); Dynamo with voltage regulator.
