Who will be there?
Everyone from pre-service teachers and staff, to pre-kindergarten through college educators, specialists, and administrators will be in attendance on Saturday. We have a wide variety of participants across content areas, specialities, and grade levels. They will all be enthusiastic and ready to share and learn with you!

What should I bring?
Bring your own charged device. A WiFi accessible device is not necessary (bring a notebook and pen!) however, a device may be helpful to have for certain sessions. In addition, you’ll receive more “door prize tickets” for elevated digital presence. Add to your Sessions’ Docs = more opportunities to walk away with one of our many free prizes!
Come with ideas to share or questions to ask, along with a positive attitude and open mindset, and you’ll have a successful EdCampPGH experience!

What are the sessions?
Sessions are driven based by our participants so speak up! During breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to suggest topics on post-it notes. We will be actively clustering these topics. Our session board will be completed by the end of our WQED Keynote. It will be visible to all participants in the cafeteria as well as being posted digitally. Past ideas: Visible Thinking Routines, Co-teaching, Google Tools, Apps for Education, Standards Based Grading, Restorative Justice, Math and Technology, Guided Reading, etc. Remember, if you choose a session but aren’t getting the professional development that you desire, you may switch sessions at any time!
