EdCampPGH is an unconference where community members & educators come together to connect.
What makes edcampPGH an unconference? Unlike traditional conferences scheduled months in advance by the people running the conference, participants at edcampPGH create the agenda during the event.
edcampPGH is free to attend!
Edcamps are participatory. They depend on discussions and hands-on sessions. Sponsors don’t have their own special sessions or tables, all of the space and time are reserved for the things people want to talk about.
Built on principles of connected learning, edcampPGH strives to bring teachers together to talk about the things that matter most to them: their interests, passions, and experience. Teachers who attend edcampPGH can choose to lead their own sessions on things that matter, with an expectation that the people in the room will work together to build understanding by sharing their own knowledge and questions.
