On Pi Day 2025 (March 14), the partnership between the Orlando Math Circle, the East Coast STEAM Magazine, and the USF undergraduate math club will present the public with the opportunity to view a special screening of the movie “Counted Out”, by director Vicki Abeles.
The 2025 edition of the Hillsborough County Math Bowl was held on January 30th at USF, featuring an impressive participation of almost 600 high school students from the district. Along with this event, a collaboration between the East Coast STEAM Magazine, the Orlando Math Circle, and the USF Math student organizations materialized into the inauguration of the Tampa Bay Math Festival. Featuring research presentation, games, challenges, and activities, the Festival provided the Math Bowl participants and their families with a comprehensive, immersive experience highlighting STEM education and learning opportunities.

This holiday season our team was able to donate to the hurricane recovery list for Witter Elementary to support teachers who lost many of their classroom items to extensive flooding cause by hurricane Milton. We also contributed to the Angel Tree Initiative at Chamberlain High with the goal of assisting vulnerable families in the area during this time of the year.
