Our issue

The issue we are trying to fix at st. Anne's is something you and I both didn't know for a while. All of our recycling at the end of the day, goes to a landfill! It did not always go to the landfill, before we used to recycle pretty well, but then we changed our recycling company. We are trying to make a difference and make sure that our recycling is being sorted properly. We can do this st. Annes!

Le problème qu'on essaie de résoudre a st. anne est quelque chose que nous ne savions pas pour un long temp. Tous de nos recyclage a la fin de la journée, va a un depattoire. Il n'a pas toujours aller à la dépattoire, avant on recyclait plutot bien, mais après nous sommes changer nos entreprise de recyclage. Nous essaie de fait un difference et assurez vous que nos recyclage vas au un bon endroit. Nous pouvons le faire st. Annes!

Our vision and our mission

Our vision for this program is to do what we can to save the planet and educate our students about how to recycle in the school environment. Our mission is to help people understand our issue, and do everything we can to change the situation in our school because only a fraction of our recyclables ends up being reused. If we do not sort the way the company that takes our recycling tells us to, all of our recycling will go to the land fill. If we do our part and sort our recycling properly, we can cut back on our waste going to the landfill.

Notre vision pour ce programme est de faire que ce qu'on peut faire pour sauver la planète et informer nos étudiants a propos comment de recycler. C'est la même idée pour notre mission, pour aider les personnes a comprendre nos publier, et pour faire tout ce qu'on peut.

Note to teachers:

Please use the presentation sign up sheet sent out to you by Mme, Hartwick to sign up for presentations to your class. Our students will be notified when you sign up for a presentation and we will come to your class at the time you chose.

Eco Club

Eco club is a group of students that will be helping the eco warriors from each class. Two people from each class will be chosen to be in control of the recycling. Each week, the eco warriors from each class will take their recycling bins to in front of the kitchen every wednesday. The teachers will decide who the two people are. Depending on how well your class organized the recycling, you will get 10 points each week. (Your goal is to be the first reach 100 points.) When the first class reaches 100 points, there class will win either a donut party or a pizza party! Make sure you listen to the announcements to know what it happening each week!

Eco club est une groupe d'élève de la class de mme Hartwick qui vas aider les eco warrior de chaque class. Deux élève de chaque class vas être choisie d'être en control de leur recyclage. Chaque semaine les Eco warriors de chaque class vont venir devant la cuisine avec leur bac de recyclage tous les mercredi. Les professeurs vont décider qui les personnes vont être. Dependent que comment bien ton class sort ton recyclage, ton class vas recevoir 10 points chaque semaine ( ton objectif est d'être la premier class de recevoir 100 point.)Puis si tu est la premier class a 100 points, ton class vas gagner une pizza ou donut party! Ecouter les annonces chaque semain pour savoir quoi vas se passer.

Primary

As a primary, though you might not know a whole lot about recycling. Looking at posters around the school or watching videos about recycling, might help you understand it a bit better. Trying your best can help a lot. There will also be presentations coming around to the class to explain in more detail the importance of properly sorting our recycling bins .

Comme une primary tu peut être ne save pas beaucoup de chose a propos de la recyclage mais tu peux regarder les poster, autour de l'ecole ou regarder les video apropo de la recyclage peux aider a comprende meilleurement. Il vas aussi avoir les presentations qui vas venir a ta class pour expliquer dans plus de detail l'importance du recyclage.

Junior

As a junior, you have the role of following the guidelines. But also when you follow the rules and set an example for the younger kids. They will copy you beacause they look up to you. If you follow the guidelines above, you can make a difference.

Comme une junior tu a la responsabiliter de suive les regles, mes aussi quand to suivre les regles tu mettre une exemple pour les enfants plus jeune. Il vas copie toi parce qu'il admirer toi. Si tous suivre les regles au desuse , tous peux faire une diference.

Intermediate

As an intermediate, you have the role of being the role model of the juniors and primarys. When you show you care and when you show that you are following the guidelines , the younger kids will follow . Creating a positive attitude towards this program will help us reach our goal.

Comme une Intermediate tu as la responsabilité d'être une modèle de rôle pour des Junior et primaries. Quand tu montre que tu soin et suivant les règle , les plus jeune enfants vont te suivre. Creer une attitude positive de set program il va nous aider nous à atteindre notre objectif.

Teachers

As a teacher, your role is to educate the students in your class about our program. Showing videos or listening to our presentations will help students understand what we are doing and why we are doing it. Thouge we do understand that you have other things to do but we are hopeing to make presentations for the school to help exsplain about the recycleing programe.

Comme une profesor, tu as la role de informer tes eleves de notre programme. Monter les video ou entendre notre presentations peut t'aider tes élève a comprendre que ce qu'on fait est pourquoi on fait. Mes on sais que tu as les autre chose a faire mes on veut faire les presentations.
