The false sunflower can also be known as the oxeye sunflower ar as it's scientific name; Heliopsis Helianthoides. Heliopsis Helianthoides might sound like a difficult name but it really only means sunflower-like.
How it Looks
The False Sunflower is known to be in groups. It usually has yellow flowers but it can also have gold or orange flowers. During the cold winter, its flowers may go grey and they need the sun if you want it to grow to it's best. This plant is part of the Plantae kingdom .
The False sunflower can grow up to 8 feet tall and the plant has 8 oz of seeds per plant. The growing months are May- July. It is fun and easy to grow it does not need much attention.
