As the only official student society for NYU Shanghai's Department of Economics and the NYU Institute for Cities and Real Estate in Emerging Markets at NYU Shanghai (ICREEM), we are dedicated to building a dynamic community for economics students and anyone passionate about understanding economic and real estate concepts. To do this, our society offers a platform for academic exploration through rigorous research and analysis, uniting individuals eager to navigate the complexities of the global economy.

Central to our mission are our four specialized teams:

• Economic Academic Research Team: This team focuses on conducting and publishing in-depth research on diverse and complex economic topics. Members explore contemporary issues and contribute valuable insights to the academic community.

• Macroeconomic Research Team: Dedicated to understanding large-scale economic trends within specific countries, this team delves into topics like global markets, policy impacts, and international trade to analyze the forces shaping our world.

• Equity Research Team: Focused on financial markets, this team investigates investment strategies, company valuations, and stock performance to provide detailed analyses and actionable insights.

• Real Estate Research Team: This team examines the economics of property markets, exploring topics like market cycles, urban development, and investment opportunities in real estate.
