We kindly ask that the students of each school prepare a short presentation or video (5–6 minutes) about their school, their city, and the means of transport they used to get to the meeting. They should include calculations about how many hours their trip from their home to Ioannina took and how much carbon dioxide was emitted. Optionally, they could also prepare a calculation about how much carbon dioxide would be emitted, and hours required getting to Ioannina, if they could take a car or bus all the way.
These presentations will take place on the first day of the mobility and will be followed by group discussions with the aim of having students propose a European city that would be an ideal meeting point if we wanted to reduce the use of transportation and the emission of carbon dioxide. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the students to come prepared to propose solutions regarding the ideal destination and the reduction of the carbon footprint.
