Greetings from the Eco club!

On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5 and as part of our efforts to raise awareness and celebrate the importance of the environment, we are inviting submissions for Eco-exhibition to showcase your unique perspectives and creativity.

Theme: Beat The Plastic Pollution 

Last date for submission: June 11, 2023 (Sunday)

Submissions can be of following kind:

1. Photo submissions  of your plastic re-use practices at home or hostel. These photos will be used to display in LCD monitors in our campus to encourage people to reuse the plastic.

2. Make Eco-bricks using a plastic bottle and fill it with your plastic waste and submit it to us. Eco-bricks will be used to make creative spaces in our campus. Please see the attached photo of the Circle- Planter made by Mr. Imran and his team in a new garden using the plastic waste from homes. 3. Any other submissions in the form of  artwork, photographs, essays, poems or drawings that reflect your thoughts, concerns and visions towards the environment.

Hello everyone,

We have decided to participate in the Campus Phenology Network event. The event is about observing growth and phenology patterns in trees around us and collecting data on it to study the effect of climate change. At the end of the event, participants will be invited to a workshop where they will learn to analyze the observation data and also be taught to write a scientific manuscript. This is a good opportunity for everyone interested in studying about tree growth patterns or climate change research
