The Ecology Club organized a paper bag-making workshop during their pre-induction process. This initiative was taken to reduce the plastic waste produced in plastic bags, which are handed along with the groceries and fruits bought from the vendors on campus.

Students were taught to make paper bags using old magazines and posters promoting the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept. Old newspapers and posters collected around the campus were used to make paper bags, which were later distributed to the students.

On November 8, 2022, Green Champions & Hostel AH 1 organised a cleaning drive with the support of the Nirmaan Organization. Their efforts encouraged many students to volunteer for the drive.

The drive was conducted around the hostel premises and on the road from the shopping complex to the playground.
