GROWING VEGETABLES - PlANTING TREES

Students learned about the importance of trees and agriculture through videos.

They learned how to grow vegetables and plant trees and the steps they must follow to grow them.

THE ECO-SOCIAL ACTIVITY “I AM A GREEN LITTLE CUCUMBER”

The eco-social educational activity “I am a green little cucumber” once again invited a large group of friends to travel with a fun little cucumber, who prepared interesting tasks for the project participants. The children of Kėdainiai district pre-school education institutions, as well as the children from other partnership institutions of the network “Lithuanian Purienos žiedas” together with parents and teachers participated in the project. The project “I am a green little cucumber” aims to develop the desire and ability to get to know vegetables, their environment, to create new ideas for landscaping, to involve children in practical activities that were both creative and delicious. For the first task, the project participants had to grow cucumber seeds in an unusual container. Observations of the growth process were captured in photo collages. The next task invited children to try and experiment in the process of making cocktails with green cucumber. Delicious moments also did not go unnoticed. A colourful calendar for the year 2021 "Green Cucumber Cocktails" has been created. Well, and the last task encouraged the use of creativity, imagination, moments of educational activity, children's suggestions. Songs, poems, fairy tales, riddles, creative assignments and games are provided.
