Our Environmental Chemistry Laboratory is dedicated to studying the chemical properties of the natural environment and their impact on human health and the environment. Our goal is to advance our understanding of the chemical processes and factors that influence the quality of our air, water, soil, and living organisms. With cutting-edge analytical instruments and techniques, we aim to provide accurate and reliable data on environmental pollutants and contaminants.
Monitoring
We develop and use advanced methods to monitor and quantify environmental pollutants and contaminants in air, water, soil, and living organisms.
Analysis
We use state-of-the-art analytical instruments, such as gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry, to identify and quantify environmental pollutants and their breakdown products.
Toxicology
We investigate the effects of environmental pollutants and contaminants on living organisms, including humans, wildlife, and plants.
Risk Assessment
We evaluate the risks posed by environmental pollutants and contaminants to human health and the environment, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
