1. Be respectful

You must respect all users, regardless of your liking towards them. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

2. No Inappropriate Language

The use of profanity should be kept to a minimum. However, any derogatory language towards any user is prohibited.

3. No spamming

Don't send a lot of small messages right after each other. Do not disrupt chat by spamming.

4. No pornographic/adult/other NSFW material

This is a community server and not meant to share this kind of material.

5. No advertisements

We do not tolerate any kind of advertisements, whether it be for other communities. You can post your content in the media channel if it is relevant and provides actual value (Video/Art). - streams are allowed.

6. No offensive names and profile pictures

You will be asked to change your name or picture if the staff deems them inappropriate.

7. Direct & Indirect Threats

Threats to other users of DDoS, Death, DoX, abuse, and other malicious threats are absolutely prohibited and disallowed.

10. If you leave the discord your you will have to re-fill out an application, your saved data will remain for 14 days, after 7 days it will be deleted from the Database

1. No excessive trolling, grieving, or disrupting other players' roleplay experiences. This includes but is not limited to intentionally interrupting or fully ruining ongoing roleplay scenarios, events, or interactions.

2. Maintain a respectful and civil tone in all forms of communication, avoiding personal attacks, insults, or aggressive behaviour.

3. Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive behaviour based on race, gender, religion, nationality, identification, orientation, or any other personal attributes.

4. Any clear, purposeful harassment will result in a permanent ban.

5. No killing or harming another player's animals and/or pets.

7. This code will keep changing to ensure folks have read it and stop it just being passed around

8. Certain play-styles or roleplay scenarios are not allowed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Pregnancy/Child Bearing roleplay.

• This does not include being a parent, just means to roleplay any form of pregnancy

• Suicide or serious self harm roleplay. For example: shooting one's self, jumping off a high place, etc.

• Forced explicit actions or roleplay scenarios. For example: Rape, etc.

• Slavery or any other forced work system roleplay.

9. No OOC interactions/discussions. You are never allowed to go out-of-character (OOC) while in game, unless a staff member explicitly requests that you do.

10. Do not force players into uncomfortable, damaging, or explicit, situations without their consent, even if it aligns with your character's role or storyline.

11. Erotic Roleplay (ERP) is not allowed.

12. Obtain consent from involved players before initiating significant roleplay actions

13. Respect players' boundaries and comfort levels regarding sensitive roleplay topics. If a player expresses discomfort, immediately adjust or change the roleplay scenario accordingly. 

1. No cheating, hacking, or exploiting the game mechanics for personal gain.

This includes using third-party software, mods, or any unauthorised means to gain an unfair advantage. If you are found to be cheating, hacking, or purposefully exploiting you will be permanently banned without any warning. This rule is your warning.

2. No power gaming.

• Examples include but are not limited to:

• Exploiting game mechanics, bugs/glitches or actions to gain an unfair advantage over other players, scenarios, or to disrupt the balance of gameplay to circumvent intended limitations.

• Manipulating systems or mechanics to avoid or nullify consequences or restrictions.

• Utilising actions or techniques solely for the purpose of gaining an advantage rather than engaging in realistic roleplay interactions.

4. No RDM/VDM (Random Death Match/Vehicle Death Match)
   
   

5. Do not use out-of-character (OOC) information and knowledge gained from external sources for in-character (IC) situations and actions, especially using any snapshots from discord as knowledge.

6. No Fail RP.

• Examples include but are not limited to:

• You were run over by the train but happily got up, jumped back on your horse and acted like nothing had happened.

• Using the ragdoll reaction too often.

• Hot mic or open mic

7. Once you die for whatever reason, you MUST forget what happened 30 minutes prior.

8. When a crime is committed you cannot identify the criminal based on Voice if they have on a mask.
   
   

9. You cannot kidnap (take as hostage), rob, or dump law or doctors while they are on duty. Off Duty is fair game. The prompt will let you know if they are on duty.
   
   

10. If you alert a doctor/police and they are on their way, you must give them reasonable time to respond and RP out your injuries/situation when they arrive.
    
    VALUE OF LIFE

11. Always value your life. Prioritise your character's safety and well-being.

12. Act responsibly and realistically. Avoid reckless behaviour and unnecessary risks that could lead to severe harm or death.

13. Comply with reasonable demands for your character's safety.

14. After respawning from a player vs player death (ex. getting shot), your character should not remember how they were killed or their killer. However, they can remember the events leading up to it.

15. After respawning or being revived, you can't re-engage in the activity that caused your death.

16. You should not respawn during an active scene until it is clearly over

How does this affect you personally?

This implies that you can just log in to the server and take in the stunning world and unique stuff! This implies that you can simply relax and enjoy AI-generated material on your own or with pals.

Simply saying "Howdy!" to other people or passing through towns encourages you to role-play to some extent.

AI and PvE. Due to Echo being a PvE server and not a PvP server, there are no Outlaws or Rangers (LEO’s / Crims). Any “crime” that occurs MUST occur ONLY in the AI content (side missions, store/bank robberies and other heists).

There are plenty of optional and dynamic events in the form of AI Hostile Gangs, Random AI Ambushes, Rescue Stranger Missions, Wagon Deliveries, Legendary Hunting Missions, Bounty Hunting Missions, Train Robberies and AI Rangers keeping the peace! These all provide heart pumping, yet enjoyable content for the added challenge!

2. This being said please understand that some situations will require to RP i.e any form of encounter with Law or medical professional

1. No robberies allowed to take place 30 minutes before and after the Storm.

2. If you are robbing a player, You cannot take everything off their person. You are only permitted to take one type of item. There is no limit on the quantity but ONLY ONE. Example;

Players inventory has 5 coffee, 2 3 star meat, 10 gold nuggets

You can then only take the 10 Nuggets

If you Rob a item you cannot take money as well.

3. You are not allowed to rob other player’s weapon/weapons.

4. You cannot chain rob. This means going from one location to the next in quick succession. There is a 30 minute cooldown between each criminal activity. This means if you rob a bank in one town, you then must travel to the next town to rob the store. You cannot rob multiple locations in one town

5. Once you have committed a crime, you must stay within that area for a minimum of 3 minutes.

What You Need To Begin

Before stepping forward, your gang must prove it’s ready:

Minimum 5 total members committed to roleplay

$20,000 in-game cash to establish your gang (or £40 Tebex setup option)

All members active in the state for at least one week

Clean server records — reputation matters on the frontier

Once ready, submit your Gang Whitelist Application for staff review.

What Approved Gangs Receive

Upon approval, your gang becomes officially recognized and gains:

Your own private Discord gang channel & official gang tag

Four matching trained horses for coordinated travel

One cart or wagon of your choosing (In the Gang section)

A custom gang item designed with staff

A whispered lead toward the Black Market, opening new RP opportunities

Gang Balance Rules

To keep the world fair and immersive:

Maximum 10 members per whitelisted gang

Only whitelisted gangs may own moonshining shacks/businesses

Quality roleplay is expected at all times

These limits ensure gangs clash through strategy, alliances, and storytelling — not numbers alone.

Native tribes function independently from officially recognized whitelisted gangs. Each tribe may consist of a maximum of 20 members and does not necessitate a formal application for establishment. Although they are permitted to partake in conflicts, their operations remain separate from those of whitelisted gangs. A minimum of 3 members is required to establish a tribe.
