2026-2027 President: Robyn Gaylord
This is Robyn's second year serving on the Board. She has a 2nd grader, Tim, and a preschooler, Michael. Her husband, Sam is an elementary school educator. Her parents instilled in her, and her siblings, how important it is to give back and be involved in your community. She has served in many volunteer leadership roles in her past, and is excited to be a member of this PTO. In her free time she loves to read, craft, play games, and grow flowers outdoors.
2026-2027 Vice President: Sarah Najafalipour
My name is Sarah Najafalipour and this is my second year serving as the Echo Park PTO Vice President. I help out with all of the PTO activities, but co-run the Glow Party and the Carnival. My husband and I have lived in Burnsville for over 15 years. We have two children: a 7th grader and a 3rd grader. I am a child therapist by day and activities chaperone, volunteer, and chauffer for my kids by night ;) In my free time, I love reading, crafting (crochet, cross-stitch, painting, etc.), and event planning. We are a HUGE board game family and are often set up at our gaming table playing a strategy board game.
2026-2027 Treasurer: Pamela Nelson
My name is Pamela Nelson and I am the current Echo Park Treasurer. The 25-26 school year is my second year as Treasurer; previously I attended regular monthly PTO meetings. I enjoy volunteering at and participating in the Basket Raffle each Fall and will continue working on this yearly event. I have 3 children; a 4th and 2nd grader and a 3 year old. I currently work part-time with a residential drafting company and I am also a stay-at-home mom. Prior to our third child I held various positions in the accounting field. In my free time I love flower gardening, biking and hiking with my family, playing games, traveling, and cooking.
2026-2027 Secretary: Morgan Schlinsog
My name is Morgan Schlinsog - new to the PTO board for the '26-'27 school year as the Echo Park PTO Secretary. I look forward to participating in our monthly meetings as well as the special events throughout the school year. I love to see how our school can connect with families and the community!
My husband and I have two daughters that will be Penguins this year - 3rd grade and PreK. Our family loves to travel, especially to Orlando for theme park fun! You can also find us at our family cabin for some fishing or at our family farm for fun with the animals.
2026-2027 Community Engagement Officer: Laura Martini
2026-2027 Event Food Coordinator: Ashley Stang
My name is Ashley Stang and I am the current Echo Park Event Food Coordinator. This is a new position within the PTO, and I will be helping to coordinate food to celebrate our teachers, as well as concessions for our various school events throughout the year. I enjoy volunteering at and participating in the Fun Run, and I coordinate the snack shack for the Carnival. I have two daughters in the third and first grades, and I work full-time as a project manager for HealthPartners. In my free time, I love everything food-related, including cooking, baking, canning, and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines.
