Positions Held: President, Vice President, Secretary, Historian
As a chapter of the American Chemical Society, our club is a part of a global organization spanning 140 countries with the mission to improve the lives of humanity through the transformative power of chemistry. In our chapter specifically, we foster leadership, pre-professionals, and engagement through community service and service to the university. Each semester for the past five years, I have played a role in the organization of our community service events to educate the next generation of scientists, chemists, and learners in the South Florida Community through chemistry demos in community centers, schools, Jewish Temples, the Frost Museum of Science, and the Museum of Discovery and Science. Over the course of two years, a small group of students and I have received funding to attend the ACS National Conference in 2022 and 2023. At both conferences, I was an author to our abstracts presented in the division of Chemical Education.
