The project eCARE generates the provision of a curriculum corresponding to the occupation of “Friendly School Facilitator”. The educator and school staff has a vital role in identifying, reporting, and preventing child abuse; many educators and school staff are already involved in responding to this issue, yet further efforts to address child abuse and neglect are necessary.
The curriculum encompasses a set of tools developed on the following principles:

You may register to eCARE IT-Up for one or more category of activities (learning, networking, assessment, etc.) and for one or more area of interest (Observatory Committee, Multiplier, etc.). Then you will be contacted within a week by one of our eCARE IT-Up Facilitator (ITF) who may assist you for the next steps. You may register here (same link than the section 1 above).
Each user may have distinct needs, starting from learners' needs analysis throughout learning activities and to EU frameworks of competences understanding. Therefore eCARE IT-Up platform is organized in a structured Learning Flow to assist users identify areas of interest to better recognize the pertinent tools and materials they may use to answer their needs. On that matter, our ITF may assist you in developing your tailored Learning Flow.
Once your Learning Flow is set, you may start your activity by accessing the corresponding tools here. eCARE IT-Up platform provides a follow-up process via a set of questionnaires to better support monitoring and evaluations processes.
eCARE project is also organized in a web community (Facebook, EPALE, YouTube, Twitter), which aim is to exchange and share ideas and practices among institutions and individuals engaged in the combat against child abuse and neglect in the schooling sphere, and to contribute to the improvement of safe environments in schools. eCARE project web community constitutes a privileged place for discussions, development, and confrontation of ideas inducing the generation of knowledge and the formalization of knowledge built by the community. It is also a community dedicated to the permanent diagnosis of needs and the development of innovation within the project's Sustainability Plan. In addition, eCARE IT-Up also generates learning provision accuracy and alignment taking stock from user's feedback.
