• Personality: Grief took Zreixith, a charming and empathetic man head-over-heels for his fiancé, and twisted him into a horrible mockery of his former self. Despite being extroverted, charming, and humorous, Rei is incredibly deceptive, temperamental, and has little issue manipulating people, letting others close to get information from them while never giving up anything about himself. He lacks integrity, having slowly abandoned his morals one by one the longer he desperately looked for a way to undo what happened and make his life normal again.

• History/Important Life Event(s): When is fiancé, Caolian Melath, was kidnapped and murdered by pirates, he threw himself into researching ways to potentially bring her back. When he came across theories that he'd eventually use to develop necrobotany, consumed by his grief and maddened by how slow his progress had been, he switched to plotting his revenge on the pirates that took her. While some forms of — rarely used — necrobotany already existed, the advancements he made to the specialty were only theories when he started. Once he deemed his magic sufficient enough, plotted for months, and gathered the supplies he needed, he went after the crew who killed Caolain. He slaughtered the crew and reanimated their bodies, using them as puppets to take over their ship as his own.

• Personality: Estrella's biggest struggle is empathy, or, rather, her lack of it. She struggles with understanding other people's emotions. She can often think logically through why someone might be feeling a specific way, but actually understanding their emotions is difficult for her. She's not sure why she struggles with this so much, but it's made interacting with other people a challenge, and not the kind of challenge she enjoys.

• History/Important Life Event(s): Estrella resents the Milky Way Intergalactic Union (or, rather, the parties in MWIU that voted for these things) for inserting themselves into her family's business and forcing Leviquip to to manufacture spaceship parts for them under the guise of helping the war efforts, while also actively stopping her, her family, or the company from helping people in need. She would've gladly helped with manufacturing spaceship parts for the military, if MWIU didn't try to stop her from sending aid to the planets in the Outer Rings who had been attacked or could be attacked. She sees this as more of a nuisance and a setback than an actual roadblock, having turned to vigilantes instead to get what aid she can offer to people in need. Keeping secrets and redirecting attention away from her actions has been surprisingly easy. To her, the only upside to MWIU inserting themselves into her family's company has been the positive public opinion on her company helping with the war efforts. Despite being in the middle of a war, Leviquip is well off.
