As my life journey continues deep in the desert southwest, my favorite activities of gardening, writing, teaching, making music and art, continue to become more interconnected than ever. What a trip!

News from the desert

After teaching gardening and nature classes for adults, children, and families in the Pacific Northwest for 25+ years, I've decided to make a big change: From now on, I'll continue teaching only in the desert southwest, where I've been living and gardening for the past 7 years.  I'm also looking forward to focusing more of my time on managing the Arivaca Dancehall with Uno, spearheading the Arivaca Pollinator Pathway project, and making more music and art!

I feel very lucky to have enjoyed so many years of in-person teaching as well as the recent years of online teaching, and am grateful to all the design, consultation, and education clients I've had over the years.

The PNW, and all my friends and family there, will of course always remain very near and dear to my heart.   I look forward to future visits north, sandwiched before or after Arivaca's delightful summer monsoon season ❤️
