General Information

I'm 17 right now, but I'm turning 18 this year. Can I still join the group?

If you turn 18 by the time the group opens, you are allowed to apply.
If that is not the case then the answer is no.

Are ride-or-dies allowed?

(i.e. Choosing another person to partner with so that if they get in, so do you, but also if one doesn't get in, the other doesn't as well.)

You are only allowed to chose one person to ride-or-die with, and only if it's mutual.

How many people are you accepting?

We will be accepting 30 members at most initially.

Can I invite someone into the group when I get in?

At the moment there are no plans for invitations, but it could be a possibility later on.

Do I need to know how to draw in order to join?

You do not need to draw to get in, but you do need a visual application. You can use art from other people so long as you have permission.

Lore

Are there Egg Groups among humans?

While humans can freely have children regardless of what Pokémon they take after, those who are in the same Egg Group will find that they have an easier time.
On a similar note, Lesser Legendaries can have children with humans who are not. It is considerably more difficult for Legendaries in general to have children however.

Is the DGAB of humans restricted by what Pokémon they take after?

It is possible for humans to resemble Pokémon that are monogendered and not of their perceived sex at birth, with the qualities being tied to chromosomes. This occurrence is a form of intersexuality (similar to Swyer Syndrome and Chapelle Syndrome) and you are free to go this route.
You are also free to have your character be trans while not intersex if you would like.

Character Creation

Can my character have a non-standard body type?

(e.g. Taurs, merfolk, lamia)

While we'll give more leeway to certain Pokémon than others for non-standard body types, it's best to have your character be checked by the mod team to be approved. In-character, those with non-standard body types are a minority, so please keep that in mind as well.

Are the alternative forms of Pokémon like Shadow Lugia and Eternal Floette allowed to be used for characters?

At this moment, no.
Many of these Pokémon are very lore specific, so if they make an appearance in Ebbing Labyrinth they will likely either be NPCs or specially permitted characters.

Can we have more than one playable character?

Yes, but you will need to buy [item] in the shop before you're allowed to do so. If you wish to test out characters before deciding on an additional playable character, you will need the [item] instead.

Specific Pokémon

Can make a character out of a Pokémon that has multiple individuals?

(ex. Dugtrio, Magneton, Falinks, etc.)

You may, and you're allowed to make the character without additional stipulations.

How does Rotom's form change work for PCs?

What's the relationship between Manaphy and Phione?

Manaphy are born under specific conditions to a Manaphy or Phione parent, requiring the blessing of a Legendary of the sea while the weather is warm. Manaphy in particular have a longer lifespan and more powers compared to their similar counterpart.
