Summary:
In Katherin Nolte's book, Back to the Bright Before, we follow eleven year old Pet on a magical adventure. When Pet's dad falls off a ladder, and the bills start piling up, her mom works late nights at the diner. Pet and her brother hear a poem about an ancient coin that could solve all their family's financial problems. They set off on an adventure in order to restore their family to it's previous joyful state.
