Hi everyone, my name is Emerson Bailey and I am an aspiring elementary school teacher. I am currently a graduate student at Eastern Connecticut State University and I grew up in Connecticut. Though I have stayed in Connecticut all my life I love to experience new things and travel! I went to Maine this previous summer and it has always been a dream of mine to go to every national park.

While I was in college I switched my major from Biology to Liberal Studies but I loved science so much I decided to keep it during my degree. I have always had a deep love for science but during my degree I reevaluated my decision when I had realized that I ignored my calling to be a teacher. I graduated from Eastern this past December with a degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Natural Science.
