If you are hesitant to purchase the "Jazz Standard Bible" (Black Book) right away, you can find and obtain sheet music from this website.
This resource provides easy-to-understand explanations of music theory specifically for jazz.
These are "minus-one" tracks (backing tracks without the melody), which are very helpful for memorizing chord progressions and practicing ad-libbing.
A Word of Caution:
Please note that some tracks may have slightly different chord progressions from the "Black Book." Also, you might occasionally encounter an arrangement that feels a bit unusual—like, "We wouldn't normally play it that way!" So, it’s best to use them as a general guide.
You can search for live performances and jam sessions based on criteria such as the date, location, and event type.
