Volunteers

The PAC is run exclusively by volunteers. Parents and guardians from the EK community generously share their time, skills, and resources to achieve all that we do. If you're interested in helping or contributing in some way, please reach out at eastkensingtonpac@gmail.com.

Committees

Several groups of parent/guardian volunteers work together at different times throughout the year on specific events. 

• Welcome Picnic (September-October): coordinate and oversee a community-building event.

• Halloween Hunt (September-November): plan and execute this seasonal outdoor event.

• Family Movie Night (November-December): organise and manage this chill indoor family movie event.

• Family Dance (December-February): create a family fun event with interactive DJ Freshleecut.

• Outdoor Improvements (ongoing): fundraise for a capital project that supports outdoor learning.

All PAC members are welcome to join a committee and help bring the plans to life.

Volunteers

There are opportunities throughout the year to volunteer on a certain day or for a certain project. Examples include:

• hot lunch distribution

• tidy outdoor clothing library

• tidy lost and found 

• event day assistance

• gardening and watering

• organising and tidying storage

• parking lot maintenance

• spirit wear coordination

• cricut making

• games day activities 

• staff appreciation 

• freezie days coordination 

• K & 7 celebration cupcakes

Please consider joining the PAC Executive Team if you're able to commit to volunteering throughout the school year.
