Orders are placed three times per year. For this term (September-December) orders are due by Friday, September 19th.
This is a school PAC fundraiser in which we partner with nearby restaurants to deliver pre-ordered food to the children. We complete all orders for a single 'term' at once to avoid excess payment fees on our ordering system.
It is supported by lovely volunteers who sort the food and ensure it is delivered correctly to your child.
Ordering times are announced in the school e-newsletter (i.e., EK Chronicle), by email from school admin staff, and our Facebook group. Financial support and alternate payment options available by emailing ekhotlunch@gmail.com or connecting with the school.
Most of the funds raised will go towards school improvements, which are different every year, determined in consultation with the school, and discussed at our General Meetings. Recent examples include repairs to stump henge and the medicine wheel garden, work on the wetlands, a set of iPads, and mud kitchen supplies.
