Freezie Fun Days
In June 2025, all students (and their siblings) are encouraged to grab a DeeBee's Organics freezie from the volunteers after school on certain days. We're able to offer the freezies at no charge using funds raised from the Neufeld Farms order and generous donations from EK families.

In April 2025, as part of the Body Science at School program, there was an online presentation for parents/guardians about the content being covered in the student workshops the following week. Ocean Wise Sea Dome
Ocean Wise Sea Dome
In January 2025, we arranged for the Ocean Wise team to bring their mobile program to Pacific Heights Elementary, and a bus brought our students to/from there. This mobile program features marine artifacts and hands-on interactive activities designed to encourage passion and care of our oceans and waterways. https://ocean.org/action/seadome/
Parent volunteers also organise a few events for the EK community at the school each year.
