DJ Freshleecut will be joined by an MC, Beatboxer, and Breakdancers to provide an interactive presentation for the students. It will be part performance and part workshop with lots of positive mental attitude messages. https://www.instagram.com/thebbots/

The PAC sponsored each of the five classes to participate in this potato-growing program run by the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation for three years. https://www.bcaitc.ca/spuds-tubs
In June 2025, all students (and their siblings) are encouraged to grab a DeeBee's Organics freezie from the volunteers after school on certain days. We're able to offer the freezies at no charge using funds raised from the Neufeld Farms order and generous donations from EK families.
In April 2025, as part of the Body Science at School program, there was an online presentation for parents/guardians about the content being covered in the student workshops the following week. In April 20225, two BC Lions players had fun with the students teaching everyone where our energy comes from, why we need to be careful about using it, and some things we can do at home and school to help us all save energy. https://www.bclions.com/fortisbc-energy-champions/
In January 2025, we arranged for the Ocean Wise team to bring their mobile program to Pacific Heights Elementary, and a bus brought our students to/from there. This mobile program features marine artifacts and hands-on interactive activities designed to encourage passion and care of our oceans and waterways. https://ocean.org/action/seadome/
Parent volunteers also organise a few events for the EK community at the school each year.
