This adventure differs to other trips as sections of the trip were shared with a good 4x4 friend of mine, Mike and his wife (Daleen). This adventure took me through Camdeboo National Park, Mountain Zebra National Park, Addo Elephant National Park, Karoo National Park, Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve and the Golden Gate National Park.

This trip is unusual because sections of the trip will be done with a good 4x4 friend, Mike and his wife, Daleen. Mike drove a Discovery 4 and towed a Bush Lapa Offroad Caravan. We travelled down to Camdeboo National Park after which we went our separate ways. We joined up again at Uitspan in Baviaanskloof Valley & Nature Reserve. On our return trip, we camped in Nieu Bethesda after which Mike continued home while I continued to the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. See Daily Log for more information.
I have done a number of 4x4 trips with Mike and have always enjoyed his company, along with his 4x4, travel and Land Rover Defender knowledge and experience. This makes for good conversations around the evening camp fires.
