My “David Letterman” Top 10 Life Sparks..Not in any particular order..

Met my wife Marion when I was teaching in the Hudson Valley in early 70s..got lucky enough for her to say “Yes” and have been married 45 years this August.

Our daughter Jennifer is an attorney in Rochester…married to our son-in-law Joe, and parents to our blessed grandson—James Joseph !  Being a grandpa is a hoot and a blessing !

Spent my entire career—including now in education..HS/Middle School/Elem teacher…then became an administrator in ’85…and an elementary principal in ’87.

Took up running in 2013…my pace is between “No Mo” and “Slow Mo” but have completed a half marathon, 10 K and many 5 Ks..am addicted.

Over a 15 year span taught at 3 colleges…including 9 semesters full time..Presented in 11 states.  Was a national consultant working in places like inner-city Detroit, Birmingham Alabama, and eastern Illinois.

Was my daughter’s elementary principal.  Her college essay was “How I Survived Being the Principal’s Daughter.

Because I had a great staff working their butts off to make me look good, I was named the NYS Elementary Principal of the Year in ‘’93..and in ’94 named National Distinguished Principal from NYS—went to White House !

Co-authored a book …A Quick Guide To Video Coaching—57 Star Reviews on Amazon !  

Am still working…now as a consultant training teachers to be Video Instructional Coaches…Interesting fact—Most teachers have never seen themselves teach !
