Our School Staff

At the heart of our school is our hard working dedicated staff. Our teachers are highly trained and supported professionals, who put students first. They are dedicated to their craft and are always working towards perfecting it. Regardless of role, teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals, are all equal team members who are working towards a common goal, improving student learning. With common planning times, biweekly afternoon staff meetings, and professional development days, all members of this learning community are given opportunities to better their teaching. These opportunities promote collegiality and collaboration across content areas and grade-levels.

Teachers are the professionals within our building and are treated with the utmost respect by all of our learning community members. This professionalism among staff members creates a culture of respect and cooperation building-wide. Teachers, administrators, students, parents and our community members are all empathetic, kind, caring and respectful members of our school.

Innovation in our technology rich school is encouraged, supported and celebrated. Our staff members are guided by curriculum, but are inspired by technology. They know they are preparing students for the future, for jobs that don’t even exist yet. This keeps them working towards always giving student authentic learning opportunities with technology in new and exciting ways. Students are connecting with their local community and global community in meaningful ways thanks to the innovation of our teachers.
