At the end of the trail from Collalbo/Klobenstein, there is a large viewing platform with panoramic vistas over the valley to the earth pyramids in the nearby gorge, with maps and helpful information in German, Italian and English. We were lucky to have the platform to ourselves much of the time, though during busy summer months the popular site draws crowds.

After enjoying the sensational view of the earth pyramids for quite some time, we began the hike back. We came upon the Caf Erdpyramiden along the way, and dropped in for a cold drink, a coffee, and a bathroom stop. There are no facilities at the viewing platform. The caf has a nice terrace looking back towards the pyramids where you can enjoy your drink.

Probably the most amazing statistic of all is that he has chronicled his time in space by tweeting over 1,000 of the most spectacular pictures ever seen from one of the most unique vantage points. His photos helped detail what life is like in microgravity, what seeing 16 sunrises and sunsets per day looks like, as well as offering breathtaking views of our world from out of this world.

Indonesia’s growth has been solid, but not amazing. Compared to its Southeast Asian neighbors, it’s pretty middle-of-the pack in terms of both the growth rate — an increase of 160% since 1990 — and in terms of per capita GDP. At around $11,000 a person, Indonesia is solidly in the middle-income category. (Note: There was a typo here, now fixed!)

I have been flying my drone for just about two years now and am always looking to push myself to find new things to shoot. A year ago when I was in Nevada, I shot the ground of the desert with my Phantom 3 and was intrigued by the look and texture in the photo. At the time, I hadn't seen many photos showing textures of the earth until a few months later when I stumbled upon Abstract Aerial Art. Every time I look at their photos, I can't help but to stare at them and try to understand what I am looking at.

I see a lot of awesome content day after day on social media, but for me to see this kind of work does nothing but inspire me to keep shooting and want to start traveling to more locations. In a way it feels great to be connected with these guys on Instagram because I can always rely on them for amazing aerial photos. I feel like I push myself very hard when it comes to traveling and capturing content around me, so I can really appreciate what they are doing to get these photos. After chatting with these guys and seeing that they go the extra mile (literally) to different countries, I think it is amazing that they are capable of finding such unique patterns and textures from the sky and dedicated enough to bring their gear out to these places to capture the perfect photo of it all.

In that piece, I recalled how each rail-trail we had ridden over the years was more glorious than any previous one we'd explored. A group of friends and rail-trail supporters has been taking this annual ride for a few years, and we've made some good choices. First, the Great Allegheny Passage. The next year, thePaul Bunyan Trail in Minnesota. Then came the twin wonders, the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and the Route of the Hiawatha in Idaho. The Mickelson, it seemed, trumped them all and became, as I put it then, "without a doubt the most amazing rail-trail anywhere on earth."

What's the quickest way to realize how truly amazing our planet is? Simple: Visit the world's greatest national parks. We're thankful that governments around the world have set aside these amazing tracts of pristine wilderness, and with the help of the tips and photos from over 1 million travelers on minube, we've found the very best stretches of untouched nature for your bucket list. From the plains of Africa to the desert isles of the Caribbean, here are the 35 most amazing national parks on Earth!

2.) Iguazu National Park, Argentina/Brazil -- The Iguazu National Park on the Argentina/Brazil border is easily the most amazing waterfall park on Earth. Whether you prefer to cool off in the clouds of mist or enjoy the over 2000 species of plants, strolling the walkways around this roaring, watery wonderland is an experience you'll never forget. 4.) Etosha National Park, Namibia -- Africa has plenty of amazing national parks, but none combine such a variety of landscapes and wildlife as Namibia's Etosha National Park. Not only can you catch a glimpse of giraffes, zebras, and leopards at the park's watering holes, but you can also explore over 2,000 ancient rock paintings. (Photo by Gabriel Orgaz)

6.) Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park, Panama -- Too often, we think of national parks as mountains and fjords, but what about those made of reefs, desert islands, and amazing beaches? That's the case at Panama's Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park, an authentic paradise of mangroves, sandy isles, and over 10,000 species of plants and animals. (Photo by Naxos)

10.) Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park, China -- To say that Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park is magical is to sell it short. Standing amid the five-colored lakes, clear blue sky, and vibrant evergreen forests is amazing on its own, but try to visit in the autumn to experience an extra explosion of color. 13.)Cinque Terre, Italy -- The Cinque Terre National Park in Liguria, Italy has it all: scenic and colorful villages, boar-filled forests, amazing hiking trails, sandy beaches...and it's all located on the Italian Riviera! There are truly few places on Earth that blend culture and nature as seamlessly (and beautifully) as Cinque Terre. (Photo by Elzunia1)

14.)Yellowstone National Park, USA -- Yellowstone National Park is a land of superlatives. The world's first natural park, the continent's largest volcanic area, and home to the world's largest herd of free-roaming bison. Yes, from its famous geysers to its mirror-like lakes and amazing wildlife, Yellowstone National Park encapsulates the very best of the American west. (Photo by Ramsey Walcher)

27.)Serengeti National Park, Tanzania -- The Serengeti National Park is one of the reining kings of African national parks. Known for its annual wildebeest migrations, the single largest animal migration on Earth, the Serengeti National Park is one of the few places on earth that can truly be considered a sanctuary for the great animals of Africa. 30.) Jostedalsbreen National Park, Norway -- Oh Norway... a land of epic fjords, scenic villages, and, of course, amazing natural parks, the most stunning of which is the Jostedalsbreen National Park, home of the famous Briskdal Glacier. Just imagine climbing by glacial lakes and churning waterfalls to come upon a massive blue glacier cascading down the mountain. Priceless! (Photo by Alfonso N. Tappero)

Racers , read the clue! Damn, I was worried for Rob and Corey. Todd was funny with the chains though, his wife was not impressed.

Those caves we're magical, I'd of loved that challenge.

AL was actually nice to her father, does she read our posts? lol j/k They did well.

Rob and Corey have the Express Pass, that puts them in the F3 I bet.

Sweden next week, I imagine their scout has found some more amazing places.

Robin and Chelsea knew they were last, so they went for a swim! 006ab0faaa
