Calculating your GPA
Use the table below to determine your GPA plus quality points for each of your classes.
Find the sum.
Divide by the total number of credits.
This number will be your weighted GPA.
All honors courses receive an extra 0.5 quality point and all college courses receive an extra 1 quality point in accordance with State Board Policy GRAD-009.

BCS Class Rank
Local class rank is determined by Beaufort County School Board Policy 3450. Local class rank is used only for calculating valedictorian, salutatorian, class marshals, and graduation honors.
