NOT SURE IF YOUR RAPTOR STATUS IS CURRENT?
Please log in to the Raptor portal to view the date that your volunteer approval status will expire. It is listed as "Expiration Date". Raptor will notify you by email at 60 days and again at 30 days prior to the expiration date. The expiration of your volunteer approval is determined by adding 5 years to processing date of your oldest clearance.

Dear BASD Families,
We hope you are enjoying your summer!
As many of you know, Boyertown Area School District has a rich history of volunteerism. Our process for managing volunteers and their required clearances, etc., includes the Raptor software platform - a tool already used in our safety and security processes.
As we approach the start of the 2026-2027 school year, more than 1,425 of you who registered remain active, approved volunteers who can volunteer immediately for upcoming summer camps, as athletic coaching volunteers, and in our buildings (provided your clearances do not expire between now and the start of these activities and the school year).
We strongly encourage those of you who have expired in Raptor to update your documentation following the instructions you received from Raptor.
Finally, we invite those of you who are new parents/guardians in the district, and those of you who want to become volunteers, to do so now. Doing so will ensure that you are ready to join us when volunteer opportunities of interest arise.
