Refund Policy

We understand that some participants who have registered for the conference may have to cancel their registrations due to unforeseen circumstances. While we try to handle requests for refunds and & accommodate cancellations to the best of our abilities, any cancellation (especially if it is close to the event) puts EAMSA 2022 in a difficult situation.

Although the size of the conference is smaller than other conferences, we must make many of our arrangements well in advance; therefore, each cancellation comes at a cost to EAMSA 2022.

Consequently, the EAMSA 2022 organisers have developed a cancellation and refund policy that equally considers the conference's requirements and participants' requirements. Therefore, please note that we will process cancellation requests for previously confirmed registration according to the following schedule:

Cancellation by 31 August 2022 at JST: 100% refund minus 9,000 yen cancellation fee

Cancellation by 30 September 2022 at JST: 50% refund

Cancellation after 1 October 2022 at JST: no refund.

Suppose the Japanese Government's water border control policy changes and the situation changes to make it more difficult for everyone to enter the country. In that case, we will apply a separate cancellation policy. (e.g. newly applied online registration fees and a wire-transferring will be deducted from the previously confirmed registration fee).
