One of the main reasons people are stressed is work or school. So if you can, put it away for a little while! Go do something you enjoy! There's a few ideas on what you can do during this break just below.
Go outside! Fresh air is proven to calm people down. You can go on a walk, ride a bike, or just bask in the sunlight (hopefully there's nice weather for this).
If you have a pet, go hang out with them for a little while! Stroking animals is supposed to be great for stress. If you don't have a pet, then stuffed animals are a great substitute.
Look up meditation videos! Meditation is where you really focus on your breath and staying grounded. There are tons of great videos you can find on YouTube.
Watch your favorite TV show or movie! Some people have "comfort movies", which means that when they watch it, it makes them relax and feel like they're closer to home. For example, my comfort movies are the Harry Potter movie series.
Talk to a family member about how you're feeling. Sometimes, keeping things in can make you feel even worse and chances are that people want to help you. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
When you have time, create a playlist of songs that relax you or make you happy, and listen to it to relive stress or sadness.
Just lay down and breathe. Focus on your breath, and your breath alone. Push the bad or stressful thoughts away.
Talk to someone that you trust and feel safe and happy around.

Invite friends for your spa day.
Set up an area using the directions below.
Have a pitcher of water with your fruit of choice in it.
Put lounge chairs for each person, including you.
Set the lights to dim, and if safe, light candles.
Set up a station with various spa items including: face and foot masks, lotions, and cucumber slices.
Prepare edible flowers and/or fruits on a table with cups to pour the water in.
Once your friends get there, lay on the lounge chairs, use the face and foot masks, put the cucumber slices on your eyes, and use the lotions.
Send everyone who came with an edible flower to remember their spa day!
