GURU MEMORIAL ACTIVATIONS UNDER SPECIAL CALL EG61GURU
- Activación: este indicativo especial se empleó para realizar varias activaciones durante el mes de Marzo de 2026 desde varias cimas en la península de EA: siempre se identificarán como /P desde SOTA.
Todas se anunciaron de antemano con Alertas en la web de Sotawatch, y las fechas dependieron de la meteorología. Se trató de concentrarse alrededor de la fecha significativa del fin de semana del 11 de Marzo.
- Caza: como podría haber otros activadores a quienes les gustaría tener un QSO con nosotros, también se empleó este indicativo para cazar desde QTH fijo. Cuando se caza no se añade el sufijo /P.
- Activation: a Special callsign was used to do several activation during 2026 from summits within mainland EA: they always added the suffix /P when from a SOTA.
Alerts were put in Sotawatch, trying to concentrate around the significant January 11th weekend.
- Chasing: as perhaps there are other activators who would like to have a QSO with us, we’d used also the callsign to chase from home. This way we'll increase the opportunities to log some DX and activators from other continents. When chasing, no /P was added.
