Sid seeks to encourage unity in the body of Christ and hope inspired by God's Word through the promotion of excellent and diverse sacred choral music in churches, denominations, and educational institutions. An ordained preacher of the gospel, he also plays a number of musical instruments including piano, organ, bass guitar, and tuba. Sid received his technical musical training in vocal performance at Middle Tennessee State University and has done graduate studies at Golden Gate Theological Seminary. Sid has also been very involved in public service in the political realm.
He and his wife of 30 years, Kimberly, are grateful to God for the privilege of parenting 3 beautiful kids: Sid IV, a graduate jazz studies student at Northern Illinois University and proud member of the US Army National Guard Band; Victoria, a recent honors graduate of Bethune Cookman University; and Grace, a sophomore music major at Fisk University.
