“Many ears are on Lucinda Moore’s new release “Lord, I Hear You!,” states The St. Louis American newspaper. Released on September 17 via her independent label Nalah Music Group powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and Stellar Award winning recording artist Lucinda Moore debuted her song in the Top 30 on iTunes Top 200 Christian/Gospel Digital Songs chart.
Co-written by Moore and Grammy-nominated musician Cedric Thompson (Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark Sheard, John P. Kee) who also produced the song it appeared on top tier Gospel music playlists Apple Music Gospel Flow, Pandora's New Gospel Now, Spotify's New Music Friday Christian, Apple Music's Take Me to Church, YouTube's Hot Gospel Playlist and Pandora’s Women in Gospel. “Lord, I Hear You,” which serves as the lead single from her forthcoming 2022 EP release is the follow-up to her 2018 “Still Alive (I Survived)” digital single, which earned her a 2019 Stellar Award nomination for Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year.
“In 2014, I survived a near-death experience when my heart stopped during emergency spinal surgery,” states Lucinda. She was mandated by her doctor to have surgery or she would risk being paralyzed. “Once I woke up and the doctors delivered the shocking news to me I immediately was inspired to write songs of testimony!” “Still Alive (I Survived)” and “Walking In My Favor,” her 2017 single which appeared on Billboard’s Hot New Singles Sales chart for eight consecutive weeks, were birthed from that experience. Moore teamed up with Cedric Thompson on both tracks.
Lucinda believes her message not only mimics where she is in life today, but for anyone who feels like they may have missed their chance. “You must walk in your blessing with unyielding faith knowing that God will provide right on time.”
