Earth USA 2024. Earth USA 2024 was Adobe in Action’s 12th International Conference on Architecture & Construction with Earthen Materials. The conference took place September 13 to 15, 2024 at in New Mexico. Earth USA 2024 indicated a wider field of interest than previous conferences and included adobe, rammed earth, compressed earth block (CEB) and monolithic adobe (cob). Any material or method that uses clay as a binder was considered. Activities included 3 days of Podium Presentations and Poster Sessions on topics related to the current state of architecture and construction with earthen materials.Friday evening Speaker Meet & Greet for all conference attendees sponsored by The Earthbuilders' Guild. Tours to local earthbuilding sites of interest in the area.

RILEM International Conferences on Earthen Construction, Edinburgh, UK. (July 8-10, 2026) The first RILEM International Conference on Earthen Construction (ICEC 2022), hosted by the Université Gustave Eiffel in 2022, demonstrated the depth and volume of research applicable to and supporting the use of earth as a construction material. Approximately 200 researchers, academics, and engineers attended that event to share their knowledge and to learn from like-minded professionals engaged in objective, scientific research into the performance and real construction potential of these materials. The Second RILEM ICEC (2024) built upon that success to provide a forum to present work on a wide range of topics related to earthen construction. These conferences aims to grow and broaden the global network of earthen construction researchers, to attract new members to the RILEM technical committees on earth, and to identify opportunities for future research. RILEM is based in France and stands for Réunion Internationale des Laboratoires et Experts des Matériaux, systèmes de construction et ouvrages.

LEHM 2024 – 9th International Conference on Earth Construction. , Weimar, Germany - September 27th to 29th, 2024. The Lehm eV umbrella association is the federal association for the promotion of clay construction in Germany. Every four years they hold an international LEHM conference with a supporting program and excursion. The 9th international event has attracted several hundred participants from all over the world. In addition to the conference with a lecture program and poster session, LEHM 2024 also included an excursion program on the last day of the conference. As part of this conference, a young talent prize in clay construction 2024 was awarded, in which academic theses were awarded by the Lehm eV association.

International Meeting for Construction with Earth and Natural Materials, Mexico (June 13-14 2024). In the framework of the UNESCO Chair of Earthen Architecture, held at ITESO University. Aimed toward students, builders, architects, and the community in general who are interested in sharing and learning about ancient, contemporary, and future ways of building with earth and natural materials. Report paper presentations, round table discussions, exhibitions, and workshops. At the closing ceremony, the integration of the Mexican Earth Construction Network was announced. Presented works for scientific dissemination, practices, and architectural projects related to:

- Recovery of traditional construction practices and techniques with natural materials.
- Construction processes with natural materials in the construction of contemporary housing.
- Training and research in the use of construction techniques with earth and natural materials.

Kerpic’24 11-14 September 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey. 11th International Conference on – “Challenges in Earth-Based Interior Architecture; Current Issue In Earth-Based Materials, Construction Techniques and Approaches”. By Kerpic Akademi, Kerpic Network and Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department. The aim of the conference is to gather the findings and knowledge regarding the theme “Challenges in Earth-Based Interior Architecture; Current Issue In Earth-Based Materials, Construction Techniques and Approaches”. The conference focused on using earth as a building material and the event will include graduate students, academics and professionals exchanging their findings and experiences. The conference provides an opportunity to understand the strategies involved, advantages of and advances made in the contemporary construction technology of earth-based material. Since 1978, Kerpic Network has been conducting research on seismic response and contemporary production techniques of earthen construction. The durability research is based on gypsum stabilized earth (alker); the seismic response research is based on horizontal energy dissipating surfaces on the load bearing walls and additional research has been conducted on production techniques of earthen materials and walls.
