Hello, MY name Is Bhaby Jean PAscual

My academic focus is completing my AAS-DTA degree, which will allow me to transfer to a four-year university to pursue my bachelor's degree in Business. Through my education at Everett Community College, I am gaining valuable experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication, which are essential skills for success. I am currently taking finance, marketing, and management courses, and completing general education requirements.

Growing up in the Philippines, I was exposed to a vibrant culture filled with traditions, delicious food, and warm hospitality. I will always cherish my roots and carry them wherever I go.  I believe that food is not only nourishment for our bodies, but it also brings people together and creates a sense of community.  This experience taught me the importance of self-care and the power of a supportive network. I have learned to cook nutritious meals with fresh ingredients and have seen a significant improvement in our overall well-being.

Congestive heart failure was one of the biggest challenges I faced as a single mother five years ago. This prompted me to make a major lifestyle change, specifically in my eating habits. It also taught me to never take my health for granted. I am proud of how far we have come and look forward to continuing on this healthy path.

I am passionate about giving back to my community and believe that creating a garden to contribute to the local food bank is a great way to do so. I hope to work closely with community members to plan, plant, and maintain the garden, fostering a sense of collaboration and teamwork. By providing fresh produce to those in need, I hope to make a positive impact and contribute to the overall well-being of my community.
