My identity as an ICT support role specialist
The role of a teacher is to facilitate learning and to help students learn by imparting knowledge to them and setting up a situation and environment in which students can and will learn effectively. As a school ICT role specialist my role is mentioned above but with more as i guide those who are in need of technological help and also find ways in which i can easily help with the integration of education with technology, I facilitate the effective use of ICT software and hardware for the teaching and learning process. I believe as an school ICT role specialist i am a life time learners and i will embrace being such as technology keeps changing overtime and my role is to manage the overall technological infrastructure inside the school environment and also on the outside if possible and to educate others on ways to facilitate learning using technology as i believe in teacher agency and one of my goals in life is to have the South African education system be to a level in which it allows learners to learn everywhere and every time they want as i believe the learning process is a never ending cycle and being born and alive in the 21st century i will do anything in my power to make sure every one is in align with the global world and is equipped with 21st century skills. I am an advocate for blended learning as i have seen it in actions and my aim and goal is to expose others to it in every way i can so that the South African education can be able to make a shift from the traditional learning to a new modern way of learning
