Career Statement
I am passionate about supporting children and adolescents in their mental health journeys, striving to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist who provides compassionate and evidence-based care. Through my academic foundation in Psychology and HDFS, I am preparing for the rigorous path ahead- Social work, psychology training, and specialized work focused on youth mental health.
My goal is to develop the expertise needed to assess, diagnose, and treat young individuals facing psychological challenges, while also advocating for accessible mental health resources in schools and communities. By gaining hands-on experience, building professional networks, and strengthening my knowledge in neurobiology and developmental psychology, I aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents.Â
Improve Academic Performance- Raise GPA by implementing strategic study habits and excelling in psychology and biology courses.
Gain Exposure to Psychiatry- Attend youth mental health seminars, workshops, or volunteer programs to deepen my understanding of child and adolescent psychiatric care.
