Curtis Ultimate Frisbee is a Middle School team run by Sudbury parent volunteers, who dedicate their time to teach the sport and to inspire younger players to love the game. Supported on the bases of the Spirit of the Game, our goal is to teach students to have fun, to learn the basic skills that will allow them to be competitive, and to develop a sense of mutual respect and responsibility regarding the fairness of the game. We seek to form a group of players who learn to work together, to support each other and to enjoy the game, the team and who see other teams as the opportunity to learn and grow in the sport.
Our team is an Open team, which means athletes of any gender play together. The team is composed by students from 6th, 7th and 8th grade, which makes it a great opportunity for the younger middle school students who might not have other sport alternatives. We welcome students from Sudbury and Lincoln Middle Schools.
We are based at E. Curtis Middle School and have two (2) seasons during the year: Fall and Spring. Players can register for one or both seasons. Registration is free and there are no tryouts or cuts. No prior knowledge is necessary.
Come check it out! We look forward to introducing the sport to new players and to fostering the "Spirit of the Game" and having fun!
