Coming to college is one of the most exciting experiences of your life, but it can also be one of the scariest. Leaving home, meeting new people, and trying to find where you belong can feel overwhelming at times. I remember starting college and wondering how I would find my people and where I truly fit in. 

One thing I learned quickly is that getting involved changes everything. It opens doors to opportunities, friendships, and experiences that make a big campus feel a little smaller. If you are participating in sorority recruitment, know that you are not alone. Every woman going through recruitment is experiencing many of the same emotions you are. They are excited, nervous, hopeful, and looking for a connection just like you. 

The greatest gift Delta Zeta has given me is the women who have stood beside me through every season of life. They are the girls who celebrate my successes, pick me up when I am down, and remind me of my strength when I struggle to see it myself. They are the friends who have shown up for me during my toughest moments, even driving all the way to my hometown to support me through challenges I never thought I'd survive. Their love, support, and unwavering friendship have made all the difference in my college experience. 

No matter where your recruitment journey leads, I hope you give yourself grace and trust that everything will work out the way it is meant to. Be yourself, stay open to new connections, and remember that the right place will appreciate you for exactly who you are. Enjoy every moment of this experience, trust your heart, and know that your future sisters may be just a conversation away.
