Coming to college is an exciting milestone, but it can also feel overwhelming. Between meeting new people, adjusting to a new environment, and finding where you belong, there is so much to experience in such a short amount of time. Adding sorority recruitment into the mix can make this season feel even bigger. I remember exactly what it was like to walk into recruitment not knowing what to expect and wondering where I would find my place.

As you begin this journey, I encourage you to embrace it with an open mind and an open heart. Recruitment is not about being perfect, saying all the right things, or fitting into a certain mold. It is about making genuine connections, learning about the women around you, and discovering a community where you can grow, be supported, and truly be yourself.

One of the greatest gifts my sorority has given me is a sense of belonging. Through the friendships, leadership opportunities, and memories I've made, I found a home away from home and women who have supported me through every stage of my college experience. Serving as Chapter President has only deepened my appreciation for this sisterhood and the impact it has had on my life.

No matter where your recruitment journey leads, trust the process and give yourself grace along the way. The women you meet are excited to get to know the real you, and there is a place where you will be valued, supported, and celebrated for exactly who you are.
