Creating/Opening a project

When starting the application, the dialog appearing next is shown, which allows introducing the project name (without specifying file extension) in the "Project Name" edit control, the project path in the "Location" edit control and the degree of freedom of the model in the Dim. number (Dimensions number) edit control. Additionally, depending on the license adquired, a type of project can selected ((a) Structural check box:  for elastic / plastic simulation or (b) Cfd check box: for Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation).

If the name of the project is not provided in the "Project Name" edit control, the name Proyecto1 is used as default project name (where the number appearing at the end of the name is stepped up as new projects are created).

At this moment in time, you have to select which type of project and simulation you are planning to run: (a) Structural simulation (such as elastic or plastic mechanical simulation) or a (b) Computational Fluid Dynamis simulation. Bear in mind that if none of these options is selected, the application won't be able to run any type of simulation.

The file extension of a DynamFluid project is ".vac". If a project file with the specified name (plus the file extension, ".vac") already exists in the specificied path, instead of creating a new project, the existing project is opened. Consequently, this Dialog box can be used for either (a) creating a project or (b) opening an existing project.

Once the project is created, the application main framework is shown, which contains the navigation window with the document structure of the project (Model document, notification document, etc.).

The next step of the process is defining the geometry and model which constitutes the problem to study / simulate.
