Tutorials
DynamFluid is an application that uses the Finite Element Method for solving linear problems in elasticity, for solving non-linear problems in plasticity and for solving the Navier-Stokes equation in fluid-dynamics problems.
This page contains a set of tutorial describing simple procedures for:
Opening an existing project or creating a new project. The first step in solving a problem in continuum medium is creating a project containing the data that define the problem.
Defining the project geometry and model properties. After creating the project, the next step is defining the geometry and the model (domain to simulate along with both the boundary conditions and the initial conditions).
Generating the mesh associated to a geometry
Simulating (Solving) the project
Importing a mesh generated with FEMAP or with gmsh
This tutorial describes how to create a project or how to open an existing project.
