Robotics @ WVU

Over my years at West Virginia University, I have been able to see our robotics program blossom alongside the growth of the overall research program. Lots of new projects going on here at WVU!

As a graduate research assistant with the Interactive Robotics Laboratory, I have been able to work on a wide variety of projects. I am the go to mechanical designer & take into account manufacturing, maintainence, assembly, and coordinating components on a system level.

Here are few of the projects that I have worked on. Although, there are many other projects on this site.

Fast Traverse Autonomous Rover

A 360 lb research platform for testing Mars rover path planning algorithms and scientific payloads.

University Rover Challenge

A yearly, international compeition amongst universities to complete four tasks: Extreme Retrieval, Equipment Servicing, Autonomous Navigation, & In-situ Life Detection.

Stone Mine Autonomous Surveyor

A 400+ lb robotic surveillance system for underground mine safety inspections.
