Due West Crossing is a 98 home swim and tennis community conveniently located in West Cobb County, Georgia near the foothills of Kennesaw Mountain National Battleground and just west of Historic Marietta, a town with a square in the middle. In 1836, the Western and Atlantic Railroad was created, and chose Marietta as its home base, precipitating Marietta's birth. Despite rapid development and population growth, Marietta has remained a beautiful, small, southern town in the midst of a large urban area.

This family friendly neighborhood boasts an excellent school system with Harrison High, Lost Mountain Middle, and Due West Elementary.

Carl Harrison High School, proud home of the Hoyas, is a Georgia School of Excellence whose mission is "One Team, One Goal: Student Success!" Harrison students consistently score above the state average on the Georgia High School Graduation Test.

Lost Mountain Middle School is situated on 88 acres of land and houses approximately 1000 students. Lost Mountain's mission to "Engage, Encourage, and Educate Learners with Enthusiasm" strives to increase student success in high school and college, and in various other career pathways.

Due West Elementary School is rated above average in school quality compared to other schools in the state, as evidenced by student test scores far above the state average. There are approximately 608 students with a student/teacher ratio of 15:1. Additionally, Due West currently ranks 97th of 1203 Georgia Elementary Schools.
