Adventure Korea

As a result of participating in this Discovery Week course students will:
- Learn more about their local surroundings and encounter a multitude of environments within South Korea.
- Experience personal discovery and growth through physically and mentally challenging environments.
- Grow personal connections with their peers through team building experiences and physical activities.
- Participate in fun and challenging activities meant to stimulate the mind, body and soul.
Course Description/Itinerary
- Day 1: Travel to Seoraksan National Park, stopping along the way for a team challenge of paintball. After paintball we will spend the night camping close to the mountain preparing for our next day hike.
- Day 2: Climb Seoraksan Mountain 1,708m and take time to take photographs. Return to SFS in the afternoon.
- Day 3: Head to a ropes course for the morning, then return to Seoul and escape room in the afternoon.
- Day 4: Sports monster in the morning, and then head to Bukhansan for games, camping, and a campfire.
- Day 5: Morning hike of Bukhansan, return to Seoul for a nice Buffet and then back to SFS for closure.
Requirements/Considerations:
- Desire to grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
- Ability to hike, partake in physical challenges, and a positive mindset
- Willingness to interact with your peers, not your phone.
- Desire to experience camping and outdoor environments
