Make school more AFFORDABLE!

In many parts of the world, cost of education is a larger barrier for girls trying to get an education. When girls are able to get an education, they are likely to earn higher wages, have a more productive agricultural plot of land, get married later in life, have less children, have greater overall health, and have healthier babies. Read more about girl's education here.

If you want to help make schools more affordable by making a donation, then check out this resource! Want more information? Check out Drawdown's resources for educating girls.

Help girls overcome health barriers!

For many girls and young women, their menstrual cycle inhibits their daily lives, often resulting in them being unable to go to school or work.

Globally you can support organizations like Femme International who help to provide education, pads, tampons, menstrual cups, and wash kits to girls and young women. You can donate here starting at $10, and the women get to choose their choice of products reviewed.

At Bard, you can support the student club Code Red, who provides free menstrual products in most bathrooms on campus.
